      • From the Dayton Fire District:

        Our Annual Chicken Dinner, hosted by the Dayton Volunteer Firefighters Association, will occur at the Dayton City Park on Sunday, July 31 from 11am-2pm.  

        To help ensure that we don’t run out of chicken, please reserve your dinner now by submitting this online form or returning this reservation form to Station 6, located at 500 7th Street, Dayton, OR by July 1st.

        Orders will also be available the day of the event on a first-come, first-serve basis, but advance reservations are appreciated due to current supply chain issues.

    • The Pancake Breakfast is $10 for ages 15 and up and includes all you can eat pancakes and one serving each of:

      • eggs
      • bacon
      • juice
      • coffee

      Kids ages 6-14 are $5, kids ages 5 and under are free.

      Proceeds will benefit the Dayton Fireworks Committee and their effort to bring a fireworks show to town next 4th of July!

  • Families that would like to receive Christmas gifts from the Dayton Tree of Giving may apply through the Salvation Army (1950 SW 2nd Street, McMinnville) on:

    -Friday, November 4 from 8:00am - 5:00 pm 
    -Saturday, November 5 from 8:00 am - 12:00 noon.

    To register, adults will need picture ID, birth certificates for children (social security cards are not accepted), and proof of address.

    Las familias que deseen recibir regalos de Navidad del Dayton Tree of Giving pueden presentar su solicitud a través del Ejército de Salvación (1950 SW 2nd Street, McMinnville) en:

    -Sábado 5 de noviembre de 8:00 a 12:00

  • The Dayton Food Pantry is open the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of each month from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm.  The Dayton Community Food Pantry is housed by the Dayton First Baptist Church and is the Dayton branch of YCAP Food Bank. The pantry is located at 300 Flower Lane.
