    Tamales will be available for pickup between 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Friday, April 26 during Bingo held at the Palmer Creek Lodge Community Events Center - 606 4th Street in Dayton.

  • Please note that ALL HOUSEHOLD WASTE dropped off at the City-Wide Clean Up event MUST BE BAGGED. 

    Recology is unable to accept the following items at the event:

    • Construction or Demolition materials
    • Hazardous waste
    • Tires (passenger car or truck)
    • Batteries
    • Paint
    • Appliances- only accepted as scrap metal
    • Freon containing appliances (fridge, freezer, a/c, dehumidifier, wine cooler, no matter the size)
    • Electronics (TVs, computers, radios, cellphones, etc.)
    • Medical Waste
    • Liquid Waste
    • Motor Oil
    • Gas cylinders
    • Barrels must have both ends removed

    • Kids and adults - drop in any time between 3-5 PM on Wednesday, March 27th to paint and decorate a wooden egg ornament of your choice. All materials provided, while supplies last.

DCDA is bringing back the ever popular "Caravan of Lights" Parade for the 4th year in a row on Saturday, December 9th, starting at 5:30pm from the Grade School parking lot! We'd love for you to participate by decorating your car, truck, tractor, 4-wheeler, trailer, bike, or float, and join us for two hours of bringing lighted joy to the community of Dayton!! Prize ribbons for 1st, 2nd, 3rd place! ????????

          Caravan will proceed throughout Dayton via a mapped route over two hours. Map of route will be emailed to participants and posted online on Wed, Dec 6th. *We will not be able to go down every street

        10AM in Courthouse Square Park for kids 3rd grade and under
        10:30AM at Grade School Field for kids grade 4-6
        Prizes for every age group!

        • New for 2023 - we will be holding the Halloween party in the Community Events Center! This event is free, family-friendly, and fun for kids of all ages. Upstairs we will have food, games, and books to give away. Downstairs we will have laser tag! In order to play laser tag, we have to have a signed release on file. You can bring a signed release form (download here) to the party. We will also have release forms at the event. Someone over the age of 18 must be present to sign the release form. 

          Nuevo para 2023: ¡celebraremos la fiesta de Halloween en el Centro de eventos de la comunidad! Este evento es gratuito, familiar y divertido para niños de todas las edades. Arriba tendremos comida, juegos y libros para regalar. ¡Abajo tendremos laser tag! Para poder jugar a las etiquetas láser, debemos tener un permiso firmado en el archivo. Puede traer un formulario de autorización firmado (descárguelo aquí) a la fiesta.También tendremos formularios de liberación en el evento. Alguien mayor de 18 años debe estar presente para firmar el formulario de autorización.

      • The Pancake Breakfast fundraiser for the Dayton Fireworks Committee will be held on Saturday, July 29th in the Palmer Creek Lodge Community Events Center (606 4th St).

        El desayuno de panqueques para recaudar fondos para el Comité de fuegos artificiales de Dayton se llevará a cabo el sábado 29 de julio en el Centro de eventos comunitarios Palmer Creek Lodge (606 4th St).
