How much will my Building Permit Cost? Building Permit Fees are calculated by City of Dayton Building Department Staff members. Building Permit fees Schedules are available online for your information. Please do not send in Building Permit payments without consulting with a staff member first. Building Permits received without the proper information or payment will delay the approval of your Permit. Remember the City of Dayton requires Building Permits with original signatures before a Building Permit will be issued.
Do I need a Permit to pour a Driveway? Only if you are pouring a driveway beyond your property line.
If you are pouring a driveway in the public right-of-way (across the sidewalk or planting strip) you will need a type A construction permit.
